I decided to ditch the classroom rules and just stick with one... BE KIND! That's it, be kind. If students are being kind, then they would be following any rule I would have in my classroom anyways.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiy8dtItI5WVAWYgcnbh62Kjh9UUw7E1Aj5QF_ALOslyeUEQ70jgUZHuVXvs763F2W-tqCKBIFgNKsXPG9_SbYFiJqBVqzUnj5HBwPDKFthNfCHUMsvhMNtj9O-uswhRX0FI_0dGmsCYIF-/s1600/Wood+Grain+Clip+Chart.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="816" data-original-width="1056" height="308" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiy8dtItI5WVAWYgcnbh62Kjh9UUw7E1Aj5QF_ALOslyeUEQ70jgUZHuVXvs763F2W-tqCKBIFgNKsXPG9_SbYFiJqBVqzUnj5HBwPDKFthNfCHUMsvhMNtj9O-uswhRX0FI_0dGmsCYIF-/s400/Wood+Grain+Clip+Chart.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
So how am I tracking my classroom behavior? I am using a clip chart as well as Class Dojo and Brag Tags. Sounds like a lot right? If you want to see in detail how I plan on managing all of this, go ahead and watch my video below.<br />

They have truly transformed the positive environment in my classroom. In this video I will go into more detail on how I implement brag tags in my classroom.<br />

Is it a fad? Should you jump on the "bandwagon" and try it out too? Lets first start off with what flexible seating is NOT! Flexible seating is not getting rid of all of your classroom chairs, replacing them with yoga balls, and calling it a day! Flexible seating is also not a free for all for your students. I can just imagine all of the chaos if you through a bunch of students into a room with all these different seating choices and no direction on how to use them appropriately. In this video I go into my thoughts on flexible seating and how I implement it into my classroom.<br />
<br />
<center><iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/d_XyAtf36lY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe></center>
<br />
Expectations are EVERYTHING!!! This includes flexible seating. I can't expect my class to use flexible seating correctly without first modeling it for them. That's why I begin every year with an anchor chart. Yes, there will be excitement. Yes, there will be arguing about who gets which seat first. Yes, it will be scary at first. Yes... it does get better. The "newness" of flexible seating wears off and flexible seating becomes the new normal. I don't have students "earn" flexible seating because it's just how our classroom runs.<br />

Think again!! Last week was my last week of school and next week I start summer school. I have been preparing for summer school this week and I've had a lot of questions about what I'm going to be doing. So of course I filmed a video for you all.<br />

Hello blogging world. It's been a little while since I've posted here on my blogspot. I made the switch over to my own hosted website on wordpress, but after much consideration, decided to come back to blogger. My reasons for coming back are the fact that I was spending a little over $200 a year on a blog that I wasn't updating as much as I'd like. I do plan on coming back to blog more frequently, but most of my content is over on <a href="https://www.youtube.com/c/Jennuineteachings" target="_blank">YouTube</a> now. This blog will serve as an additional resource to go along with my YouTube videos.<br />
<br />
With that said I would love to introduce my Summer Series to you. I know that as teachers we are drained and tired from the school year we just finished. Something strange happens on the first day of summer vacation though. After you finish binge watching Netflix in your pajamas most of the day, you realize that you have a bit of motivation for the next school year starting to sneak up on you. You may not be quite ready to see the back to school sales start or even want to think about lesson planning, but you wouldn't mind starting to brainstorm about next year. That's where my Summer Series comes in!<br />
<br />

As you can see, June is going to be a busy month over on my YouTube channel. I go back to work at the beginning of August and since I will be teaching summer school all June, I plan on taking a break in July to rest and rejuvenate to prepare for the upcoming school year. I know some of you are already on summer break and these videos will be released over your first month of summer. Other teachers may not get out until the end of June, making July the perfect time to catch up and maybe even start planning for your school year.<br />
<br />
Now of course, it wouldn't be a Jennuine Teaching blog post without a video introducing you to my Summer Series. So for those of you who prefer videos, this one's for you!!<br />

It makes me proud to show off my class because it shows that they have respect for other learners. And lets be real here, it is down right embarrassing when you have a noisy class walking in line. It's like a stampede is coming.<br />
<br />
For years I have used bubbles in your mouth and hands behind your back. Well this is good for the quite mouths, but I still get stompers in my class. Last year it wasn't a huge deal because our hallways were carpeted, but now they are just concrete, so noise spreads so easily. This year I decided to use marshmallow mouths and toes.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvf-_fz86P87ltOQnEjWWBCAfysEHgfM5oVZBEKB3WuXUTFJJOsdTPYjF7nGQSSSsE4wxYLsL72YABn6xHEt2PCjVBf8XT45Gx-a_1EvMxcGMU-huXPjuY7NA8ZlXc30e3PABOBJx1Xlsr/s640/blogger-image-717150363.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvf-_fz86P87ltOQnEjWWBCAfysEHgfM5oVZBEKB3WuXUTFJJOsdTPYjF7nGQSSSsE4wxYLsL72YABn6xHEt2PCjVBf8XT45Gx-a_1EvMxcGMU-huXPjuY7NA8ZlXc30e3PABOBJx1Xlsr/s640/blogger-image-717150363.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: right;">
<br /></div>
I started off by bringing out the marshmallows. I had a lot of oooohhhhhsssss and aaaaahhhhhsssss... exactly what I wanted. We talked about marshmallows and used our 5 senses to describe them. This was also a perfect way to introduce adjectives. After we made a list, I let each of my students eat a marshmallow. WHAT?? We get to eat one? Yes!! While they were eating their marshmallows, I had them listen to what they heard. After all of the marshmallows were swallowed, we talked about what we heard. To their surprise, they heard nothing! <br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4E_1jXY42_o8S505hq-NIM6GvEeD4OEDc1NVDYYzVy4zFW3COto7vEDKfwb0EtF1RVNkSwTpxrpZ5tlhWT5jAeslhVPVb_vYV-18Oy-7_9UHpFNCd3ZMDgCMLtQXJNrqCzN4A-FobZW4T/s640/blogger-image-63085906.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh4E_1jXY42_o8S505hq-NIM6GvEeD4OEDc1NVDYYzVy4zFW3COto7vEDKfwb0EtF1RVNkSwTpxrpZ5tlhWT5jAeslhVPVb_vYV-18Oy-7_9UHpFNCd3ZMDgCMLtQXJNrqCzN4A-FobZW4T/s400/blogger-image-63085906.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
Then I stood on the table, YES, that's right ON the table!! I put a marshmallow on the table and stepped on it. I did this for two reasons. One so all of the students could see what I was doing and second, so I could control the smashing of the marshmallow. Nothing like having to clean 18 smashed marshmallows out of the carpet.<br />
<br />
We then proceeded to talk about what we heard. Again, it was nothing. We then got into a conversation about marshmallows being soft, fluffy, quiet food. I asked them what it would sound like if we walked with marshmallows in our mouths and on our toes and they said it would sound quite. We then practiced walking around the room with marshmallow mouths and toes.<br />
<br />
Afterwards I taught them a song that would remind them to stay quite in the hall. Then they were able to create a craft that went along with our poem.<br />

Finally, my students were able to show how well they learned by walking into the hall with their marshmallow mouths and toes. They did an amazing job!<br />

I ended up finishing two products for TpT and making a card for a friend.<br />

My first project was to finish my<a href="https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Buckets-of-Kindness-2036144" target="_blank"> Buckets of Kindness Unit</a>. A lot of it was hand drawn by me which meant I had to scan everything in, color it in photoshop, and then put it all together to get it ready for TpT. I think it turned out pretty good though. :-)<br />

The second product I finally finished was my <a href="https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Marshmallow-Toes-2036504" target="_blank">marshmallow mouths and toes</a>. I wanted this done for the first day of school, but it's better that than never right? I will be using this with my kids this week. Check back on Wednesday for a blog post on how it went. <br />

Finally, to get some creativity in, I made a card for a friend. I call this card... Flamingo Summer. I haven't crafted in months and it felt so good to finally sit down and make a card.<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Are you starting out the school year right now or planning on starting in the next couple of weeks? Starting off the year on the right foot is important. Ever teacher knows that teaching procedures is essential in order for a classroom to run smoothly. After a week of procedures in my own classroom, I decided to add a little kindness into the mix. My students were understanding procedures and following rules and routines pretty well, but they were still tattling and getting frustrated with each other. I guess I should mention that I teach kindergarten, so most of the issue is just teaching them how to interact with multiple children at a time. I decided to read this book to my students.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://amzn.to/1IUy2M6" target="_blank"><img alt="http://amzn.to/1IUy2M6" border="0" height="200" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDfFYyX88kPzx_UW2NtGQme6IFejSdltYNZKAzVyz9AVcjV68WIK2Mhw0pwHnf5hWqAJGL1xocmMgktgiX2Ssdu-wgWaN_lkjrym23tTMzn0FJM_Rzt4bNLBEXfQzf-JyFEjj6mqkgn05L/s320/62e7970ece64ea80bd8c72e75d33723a.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
As I was preparing to read this book, I started coming up with a whole list of ideas that would promote a positive classroom environment. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR5aw2X9sYvgujdArBM5L52YvP1HlqBZXa22Asrbot8NwiaepANs1O8KiS5kSwlEFFQgLZjceVJXk2xZkPcsma73zEqTgi5UemqQn26_5UOQqHYf3sp1lXdZVa6v-JlKeoeCZ1MDaXdF9E/s1600/Slide3.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgR5aw2X9sYvgujdArBM5L52YvP1HlqBZXa22Asrbot8NwiaepANs1O8KiS5kSwlEFFQgLZjceVJXk2xZkPcsma73zEqTgi5UemqQn26_5UOQqHYf3sp1lXdZVa6v-JlKeoeCZ1MDaXdF9E/s320/Slide3.PNG" width="239" /></a></div>
The first idea I had was to create a bucket filler and dipper sort. After we read the book, we would discuss what being a filler means and what being a dipper means. The students really started to understand that when they make people happy, they become happier themselves. It was nice to be able to use these sorts as a way to practice identifying different behaviors. The students loved it so much that they started coming in from recess telling me all about how they were a bucket filler. The smiles on their faces were priceless!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghgN-3dSIEfx9QQWaTFq-xNShSQWtcfCtTuxgPlEONhn2b-MfuLsIbrmRBbQ8RLRV1oc0PwhX_tcNw54lguctu_I-lyeNwRQ6pMO0RQinBYAM60o7Wgq92CWbMOP9rnfL6GV5tg7YGL92w/s1600/Slide12.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEghgN-3dSIEfx9QQWaTFq-xNShSQWtcfCtTuxgPlEONhn2b-MfuLsIbrmRBbQ8RLRV1oc0PwhX_tcNw54lguctu_I-lyeNwRQ6pMO0RQinBYAM60o7Wgq92CWbMOP9rnfL6GV5tg7YGL92w/s320/Slide12.PNG" width="240" /></a></div>
The next idea I had was to have a management system that goes along with bucket filling. As a class we can earn hearts whenever we see someone being a bucket filler. Once the bucket is filled the class can earn a surprise, extra recess, or even a small treat. This is not how I'm going to use it though. Since bucket filling is all about making good choices, I want to encourage happiness in my class. When our class fills the bucket with all of the hearts, we will have a meeting about Random Acts of Kindness (RAK). We will choose a person or people to preform a RAK for. This may be making cards for the class next door, cleaning up the playground, or even going down to the office and singing a little song for the secretaries. When my students are able to see the smiles on the faces of the people who get RAKed, this will be encouragement enough to keep earning more hearts.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhR9KRwtY0u6Rwsy0Naayj2BNZyLlEYNJOJmVy4eea9kTbWuZpt3Boz4qj_yKGNEIrPmWRpzQBZ1quceMB7zurt4VYNWcBcmJVjdKst5hrG9W_4sGqDmNzKKDMNHoQ0mbXTxx_UvyROEM96/s1600/Untitled-1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhR9KRwtY0u6Rwsy0Naayj2BNZyLlEYNJOJmVy4eea9kTbWuZpt3Boz4qj_yKGNEIrPmWRpzQBZ1quceMB7zurt4VYNWcBcmJVjdKst5hrG9W_4sGqDmNzKKDMNHoQ0mbXTxx_UvyROEM96/s1600/Untitled-1.png" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6lwvVW1oDOw3EQHXDBCQP_nEYwRoS2_Odw7NQz22aNyZGjIpRl_eGVUOhPabfqVPCnCIrex2huBTSWd-KxFHHM8Leng9DCRUdl-BYIfT79Fc7zGGChEGffgEeI_7TMQRNUaKmGh-c2DMR/s1600/Slide24.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: right; float: right; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: 1em;"><br /></a></div>
The last part was to make fun craftivities that would reinforce making good choices, while still being fun.<br />
<br />
So far I am really loving the bucket filling system in my class. I will continue to use it and add more to it as the year goes on. If you would like to use this in your classroom this year, you can pick up Buckets of Kindness in my Teachers Pay Teachers store.<br />

It was a good first week, but it is always so tiring. I will be blogging about my first week later this week, but first let's talk about Monday Made It.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAFHaVjJkdisGgPZ-k1fO7NZvUZCRzz7GoP2Tqo5mG6m-CY_cQqzCi89x0RL55YgdYAgnN2Tc99UWn5X_CuIN218jnLqv_T4vFRIIBWCxBv3k-76qQf9pHpgAW7JChErkfGKf7ht2c_k-f/s1600/Monday%25252BMade%25252BIt%25252B1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAFHaVjJkdisGgPZ-k1fO7NZvUZCRzz7GoP2Tqo5mG6m-CY_cQqzCi89x0RL55YgdYAgnN2Tc99UWn5X_CuIN218jnLqv_T4vFRIIBWCxBv3k-76qQf9pHpgAW7JChErkfGKf7ht2c_k-f/s1600/Monday%25252BMade%25252BIt%25252B1.png" /></a></div>
This week I created a lot of things. There are a few in particular that I am very proud of. My first is my planner stickers. I created them a few weeks ago, but I finally got around to putting them in my <a href="https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Store/Jennuineteaching" target="_blank">TpT store. </a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiU7XaEjwbfJqxVHCStzH0j4H4YGr8mge-AYJPr7rEBkYIXZvvFiRANIjToL3qOqIxiqd9EWb9O66XNzvC92sC_cpLJvUKRNU8HSHg09ZKx24pb1vE3p5HKFtch28Dj6WLpL1on8ngrVLFE/s1600/3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiU7XaEjwbfJqxVHCStzH0j4H4YGr8mge-AYJPr7rEBkYIXZvvFiRANIjToL3qOqIxiqd9EWb9O66XNzvC92sC_cpLJvUKRNU8HSHg09ZKx24pb1vE3p5HKFtch28Dj6WLpL1on8ngrVLFE/s400/3.jpg" width="266" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
This week was the first one with my planner and I loved my header stickers. It was a nice way to clearly see each any every one of my subjects that I had to teach throughout the week.</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Lesson-Plan-Header-Stickers-2022132" target="_blank"><img alt="https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Lesson-Plan-Header-Stickers-2022132" border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3YRPedTRCQG1kt5Dci08YEefPYk6XTWUOSEwvLGNIEDPer5amca4x6UGP9Ae6A10hK3eYM7uJVxm0blU5UQULpM6sxXvnyOPuMdlt1SynWI8swF8mxmSiCldjoxRnoE-oXOeSgMQLIvQx/s400/Lesson+Plan+Headers.png" width="300" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
If you want to get yourself a copy, you can get them <a href="https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Lesson-Plan-Header-Stickers-2022132" target="_blank">HERE</a>. They are editable and you will be able to print as many out as you would like. I prefer using full sheet sticker paper and a paper cutter. It makes planning fun and colorful!!</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
Speaking of planning and organization, I finally got around to updating my teacher toolbox.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRa726vxbIyh5i47Z1prjItHxyHYFMYAPzPKhnwtNY73U4mdNL5OzNCaaYLLIFkgBmAdAL2tTjS9bWDdrkTFfqpcbA4Bwmr6REMds2BUM6BW_D4SU6U83XpsdappaS7KaRScDvAeW0CXyN/s1600/Screen+Shot+2015-08-09+at+9.15.13+PM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiRa726vxbIyh5i47Z1prjItHxyHYFMYAPzPKhnwtNY73U4mdNL5OzNCaaYLLIFkgBmAdAL2tTjS9bWDdrkTFfqpcbA4Bwmr6REMds2BUM6BW_D4SU6U83XpsdappaS7KaRScDvAeW0CXyN/s320/Screen+Shot+2015-08-09+at+9.15.13+PM.png" width="319" /></a></div>
A few years ago I had a gorgeous classroom carpet that unfortunately I had to leave at my old school. I will one day have that carpet again, even if that means purchasing it myself. I mean look how gorgeous it was!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZ3G2XI_RYyKe_RfWsOa3dEihLsPovZsxrGZPkVBTFg0sLzlNOIsXzo45pWCYzmqCf5s2VVFo8eA66SFqWZbvYNeCzwH74hwfpZNr4Hv2xoyBmfcaiBxaGH8CLd5NPD5x7mS7DPfG_Cf5l/s1600/3.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhZ3G2XI_RYyKe_RfWsOa3dEihLsPovZsxrGZPkVBTFg0sLzlNOIsXzo45pWCYzmqCf5s2VVFo8eA66SFqWZbvYNeCzwH74hwfpZNr4Hv2xoyBmfcaiBxaGH8CLd5NPD5x7mS7DPfG_Cf5l/s400/3.png" width="400" /></a></div>
Well, needless to say, my matching teacher toolbox no longer matched. That's when i decided I needed a new toolbox to match my new theme...rainbow!! I was sad to see my old labels go, but I am so excited to look at this colorful and clean toolbox every day. One of my teammates was looking for a pencil and it was so easy to point her to my toolbox and tell her it was in the drawer labeled pencils.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUoSmzcgcxA35B-xJ9VX4PzHiuzAJq3gdEjnBsKArgdRmoVQ0nEwvDX1WdBU20Xx4ktDjpLejjdGTqykfpFH8gAuxY1pjBJIdTKwSFyzgTtvn7miklggyCFEq93TIuL0go-ov6sgGm-VuB/s1600/Screen+Shot+2015-08-09+at+9.14.52+PM.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="293" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgUoSmzcgcxA35B-xJ9VX4PzHiuzAJq3gdEjnBsKArgdRmoVQ0nEwvDX1WdBU20Xx4ktDjpLejjdGTqykfpFH8gAuxY1pjBJIdTKwSFyzgTtvn7miklggyCFEq93TIuL0go-ov6sgGm-VuB/s400/Screen+Shot+2015-08-09+at+9.14.52+PM.png" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />I made two versions of my teacher toolbox. <a href="https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/EDITABLE-Rainbow-Teacher-Toolbox-Labels-2004756" target="_blank">Editable</a> and <a href="https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/EDITABLE-Rainbow-Teacher-Toolbox-Labels-2004756" target="_blank">Non-Editable</a> that are available in my TpT shop.<br />
<br />
What have you created this week?Jenniferhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/15892990808357872943noreply@blogger.com14tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4871829765452913996.post-51438801704628646852015-08-03T00:00:00.000-07:002015-08-03T00:00:04.013-07:00Monday Made ItHappy Monday! If you are like me today is your first day of school. That doesn't mean that the craftiness has stopped and will stop anytime soon. I feel like I am more creative during the school year since there is so much that needs to get done.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAFHaVjJkdisGgPZ-k1fO7NZvUZCRzz7GoP2Tqo5mG6m-CY_cQqzCi89x0RL55YgdYAgnN2Tc99UWn5X_CuIN218jnLqv_T4vFRIIBWCxBv3k-76qQf9pHpgAW7JChErkfGKf7ht2c_k-f/s1600/Monday%25252BMade%25252BIt%25252B1.png" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiAFHaVjJkdisGgPZ-k1fO7NZvUZCRzz7GoP2Tqo5mG6m-CY_cQqzCi89x0RL55YgdYAgnN2Tc99UWn5X_CuIN218jnLqv_T4vFRIIBWCxBv3k-76qQf9pHpgAW7JChErkfGKf7ht2c_k-f/s1600/Monday%25252BMade%25252BIt%25252B1.png" /></a></div>
My first Made It is custom borders. Yesterday I made a post all about bulletin boards in my classroom. My big tip was to ditch the butcher paper and focus on your borders. I like to use simple borders and use colors to add accents to my wall. Sometimes it's hard to find the right color or even when you do find the right color you run out!! Well I have a solution to that.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwD2mxpizOAnxcnoiv7QXsbidpoPMjJdopmH11HVTqT_dM5PM6sk4rRf6tiyW-vpK-enf6OY-X3aCOux7tG1GANEfEf-uTU3nRU6_ZKk2R3qGVyTXwO_zH1MBqbdQtgly6ANIRH5oYDprV/s1600/DIY+Borders.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwD2mxpizOAnxcnoiv7QXsbidpoPMjJdopmH11HVTqT_dM5PM6sk4rRf6tiyW-vpK-enf6OY-X3aCOux7tG1GANEfEf-uTU3nRU6_ZKk2R3qGVyTXwO_zH1MBqbdQtgly6ANIRH5oYDprV/s1600/DIY+Borders.jpg" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I also have a video on how I made these borders if you want to try it out for yourself. </div>

<iframe allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/RlK06damaI8" width="560"></iframe></center>
<br />
My second Made It is my teacher toolbox. A couple years ago I made a forest themed toolbox that matched my classroom perfectly. It no longer matched my classroom so I finally got around to updating it!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMID2tenVnv0vPU6E4MDTBmXRaKR6O4TTIIMC5CzxI6W3EtvU_8sYh98bkAT5t9wwaUmlndoTujFx-Tlnw6NK8l2ARd7W77edNyE6H_ydkhvLcwxvXPy6elWE9-l4hCwNhqtOTCgaMzgIj/s1600/Slide1.PNG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjMID2tenVnv0vPU6E4MDTBmXRaKR6O4TTIIMC5CzxI6W3EtvU_8sYh98bkAT5t9wwaUmlndoTujFx-Tlnw6NK8l2ARd7W77edNyE6H_ydkhvLcwxvXPy6elWE9-l4hCwNhqtOTCgaMzgIj/s320/Slide1.PNG" width="240" /></a></div>
I have both a <a href="https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Rainbow-Teacher-Toolbox-Labels-2004537" target="_blank">premade</a> version and an <a href="https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/EDITABLE-Rainbow-Teacher-Toolbox-Labels-2004756" target="_blank">editable</a> version that are available in my TpT store if you want to use them too!!<br /><br />
Make sure to head on over to <a href="http://4thgradefrolics.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Tara's</a> blog to share your Monday Made Its and check out everyone else's.

Today I am bringing you a tutorial that show exactly how I made them.<br />

I am linking up with <a href="http://www.schroedershenanigansin2nd.com/" target="_blank">Ashley</a> and <a href="http://www.luckylittlelearners.com/" target="_blank">Angie</a> to share my bulletin boards this year. I like to keep my bulletin boards pretty simple. A few years ago I learned from a veteran teacher not to use butcher paper. It is hard to put up, it fades, and what happens if you get tired of it? She also said to stick to very simple borders. Ever since then I have been doing this. It saves me so much time! That doesn't mean you have to sacrifice cute bulletin boards.<br />
<br />
Here are a few of my boards where I just use borders. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg87hdNNftQuac_l1K2Us4jbAX-uWM-40mW5b8d7naiN2FKGaM7HInbZf13jbZKnnWFgM5WOFbWv7kgR-4OjEBSW7g_mf6NzzgavoWZrpTL-vytlCPg-AfkNHtmWQIfLRBLnMwRiZaGF9NT/s1600/corner.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg87hdNNftQuac_l1K2Us4jbAX-uWM-40mW5b8d7naiN2FKGaM7HInbZf13jbZKnnWFgM5WOFbWv7kgR-4OjEBSW7g_mf6NzzgavoWZrpTL-vytlCPg-AfkNHtmWQIfLRBLnMwRiZaGF9NT/s1600/corner.jpg" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I love the fact that I have a corner in my classroom. It makes it a natural meeting area for my classroom with a lot of space to display important information.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzNjTisH2ZOVULlCkFSueKVVRyB0_XmTyXVsER1F0PEs_gLUTJxak7T4BC8b6zV5g3PylhtTtoUiNpRvR9I0lKdGfwnjvtBqHCw5G8y1VAQBlBfWY9VkITgBD2AYUDnWLOOSEOMAbOjMKs/s1600/word+wall.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhzNjTisH2ZOVULlCkFSueKVVRyB0_XmTyXVsER1F0PEs_gLUTJxak7T4BC8b6zV5g3PylhtTtoUiNpRvR9I0lKdGfwnjvtBqHCw5G8y1VAQBlBfWY9VkITgBD2AYUDnWLOOSEOMAbOjMKs/s1600/word+wall.jpg" /></a></div>
My word wall is a place where we always refer back to. I have it right next to my Promethean board since this is where I do all of my writing mini lessons. It's also easily viewable from every seat in my classroom.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3hBg4ddOK9odp9C560Qe6rmUvePhVl9sQ7JaMJVVYgPEfsRgMR6Y6PzVK67FzePPBZipZbo1cm1UHDi9u3RsItwI8x3ddQlvNRj73reeWpuDf1em3g6YmVecYsoHkkUiVEZj7vxqWkscO/s1600/rainbow+wall.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg3hBg4ddOK9odp9C560Qe6rmUvePhVl9sQ7JaMJVVYgPEfsRgMR6Y6PzVK67FzePPBZipZbo1cm1UHDi9u3RsItwI8x3ddQlvNRj73reeWpuDf1em3g6YmVecYsoHkkUiVEZj7vxqWkscO/s1600/rainbow+wall.jpg" /></a></div>
I love my rainbow wall. It's a great way to display student work throughout then year and when it's empty, it's a nice decorative wall that adds lots of color to my classroom.<br />
<br />
I also have a few areas in my room without borders. I usually reserve this for smaller areas or when I just want to add a little pop of color.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDIBLYXIBD5PkOrWWwujpotoOVwkFsT4b86bMwgvjp0McZk3gzTbRq1PxhL7WtITMqBpGWZdUjr3O8R6O1NiNOXMhVDV9m-7BKbWo0lME0qcY0tWga62MLuaNyKieD7QfqkfCfxu1EtjCV/s1600/rules.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDIBLYXIBD5PkOrWWwujpotoOVwkFsT4b86bMwgvjp0McZk3gzTbRq1PxhL7WtITMqBpGWZdUjr3O8R6O1NiNOXMhVDV9m-7BKbWo0lME0qcY0tWga62MLuaNyKieD7QfqkfCfxu1EtjCV/s1600/rules.jpg" /></a></div>
These are my classroom rules. I put them in a place where we will all see them. I am constantly looking at the clock, so this visual reminder of the rules is a perfect place for them.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWNp6XMozSCG43yFMl4NGXJo0k9BBBtz-gSRiE9JMcOoHcvhdfuCI3THg1hC04QgiRQYxn2RYov1_ZeH27wwhi22PWpvH075yh4YwapDjQaS9yDZbKUFjVtQ2BcUht5ZtUtFs2K3Dt_mo9/s1600/Tree.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhWNp6XMozSCG43yFMl4NGXJo0k9BBBtz-gSRiE9JMcOoHcvhdfuCI3THg1hC04QgiRQYxn2RYov1_ZeH27wwhi22PWpvH075yh4YwapDjQaS9yDZbKUFjVtQ2BcUht5ZtUtFs2K3Dt_mo9/s1600/Tree.jpg" /></a></div>
In my old classroom I had a wall dedicated to reading and data tracking. I don't have the space in this room and I also don't track data the same way now that I am in kindergarten. I still wanted a little piece of home with me in my kindergarten classroom. I think this board will travel with me to every classroom I ever teach in to remind me of where it all started.<br />
<br />
My last bulletin board is the only one I use butcher paper on. This board is out in the hallway and I love putting a little more effort into it. Since everyone doesn't necessarily come into our classroom, it's a nice glance into what's going on. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhZN968fIIBnUfb3ELVk9cUA7IRMBRyG8JHxclhPDH1iPw-r2EN54Qn0inqNeg8cUIqHM3Kij29_n_wi635g05pNZxsFMcNAjc_QoNFBw_sNpzZXug0Tz_KUBr3hnS3UTBMovYbhyphenhyphenKd_uk/s1600/gum.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjhZN968fIIBnUfb3ELVk9cUA7IRMBRyG8JHxclhPDH1iPw-r2EN54Qn0inqNeg8cUIqHM3Kij29_n_wi635g05pNZxsFMcNAjc_QoNFBw_sNpzZXug0Tz_KUBr3hnS3UTBMovYbhyphenhyphenKd_uk/s1600/gum.jpg" /></a></div>
At the beginning of the year I like to make a cute welcoming board for my students and parents. Once we start the school year, this board turns into a monthly theme based on the units we are studying. I also have a large wall space outside of my classroom that I plan on using right away. It's prime real estate so I need to claim my space.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5-hVi9jmw-jccABXxVqpoHFUEx0fS0amtWZhdVX4M9kfTrMPom7FlNPL9wJZQyvRzdE79iZ86iC1mxHJKdb4YS0Ji4sByHbI5Of4noyCRwdtNflKNo2tcqJOJLByaLXRyVcmpDftrZ0Bx/s1600/cricut.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5-hVi9jmw-jccABXxVqpoHFUEx0fS0amtWZhdVX4M9kfTrMPom7FlNPL9wJZQyvRzdE79iZ86iC1mxHJKdb4YS0Ji4sByHbI5Of4noyCRwdtNflKNo2tcqJOJLByaLXRyVcmpDftrZ0Bx/s1600/cricut.jpg" /></a></div>
My classroom is in the corner so I don't get a lot of light in the hallway. I love to add bright letters to my boards. I love using my Cricut and Silhouette in the classroom. This year, I brought one of my Cricuts into the classroom so whenever inspiration hits, I am able to create at school.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQz0ZFRCbna0ybFjCh7LbcPFhyphenhyphenTHc_DQ2fLr_l1EW6Ovilgv9Wz5eASKisj3A5uTD-1q8ivMOWa_wmFGPaP0T3QlxKIrOcK23Ohf-cxq9f6MEA992jc2X9njju7iL9TADAOHhW4TrlVL6t/s1600/linky+button.001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgQz0ZFRCbna0ybFjCh7LbcPFhyphenhyphenTHc_DQ2fLr_l1EW6Ovilgv9Wz5eASKisj3A5uTD-1q8ivMOWa_wmFGPaP0T3QlxKIrOcK23Ohf-cxq9f6MEA992jc2X9njju7iL9TADAOHhW4TrlVL6t/s320/linky+button.001.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
I hope you enjoyed my classroom bulletin boards. I plan on making more posts dedicated to DIY borders and how to use the Cricut and Silhouette in your classroom. So make sure to follow me through BlogLovin' to stay updated.<br />
<br />
What do your bulletin boards look like? I would love to know. Make sure to link up and share your boards!!<br />

Today is my last day of summer vacation. I have meetings this week, but I am going in today to have a team meeting with my wonderful kindergarten team. This year I am team lead and I wanted to share my appreciation with some beginning of the year gifts.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifApFZl-dXDNsa9iJHCCoihpjsJ-x-_UaEI9oBYh8-0xeKzx2Dw_sdFeAKLeDeETuAOVVxsBkSOlyM7Gpc7vx8LUJviaTgYUb-esKLag2c8IIwVntvkAd5aMLbxnsxCpLmxtrqmzGcZTnE/s1600/1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEifApFZl-dXDNsa9iJHCCoihpjsJ-x-_UaEI9oBYh8-0xeKzx2Dw_sdFeAKLeDeETuAOVVxsBkSOlyM7Gpc7vx8LUJviaTgYUb-esKLag2c8IIwVntvkAd5aMLbxnsxCpLmxtrqmzGcZTnE/s1600/1.jpg" /></a></div>
Teaching all day can be tiring and at the end of the day it's not unusual for some of us to forget to drink water. I have two HUGE water cups that I bring to work every day, but it never hurts to have more. I added vinyl to these mason jar cups for my team mates. Hopefully we will all stay hydrated this school year.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

The next part of their gift are some goodies from my favorite place... Target!! I just packaged up some of my favorite dollar spot finds and closed it up with some washi tape.<br />

This past week I went into my classroom and set everything up. I wanted to be able to relax this week and focus on lesson planning this week. I have been creating custom stickers for my Erin Condren lesson planner and I have fallen in love! I am making more stickers that are specifically for teachers and I will be releasing them later this week. If you want to see them for yourself, you can visit my Etsy store <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/JenuineCraftsCo" target="_blank">HERE</a>.<br />
<br />
I am linking up with <a href="http://4thgradefrolics.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Tara</a> for Monday Made It. If you have made anything this week, feel free to link up as well.<br />

I am linking up for another Plan with Me Sundays! This wonderful linky up is hosted by <a href="http://keepingupwithmrsharris.com/plan-with-me-sundays-back-to-school-edition/" target="_blank">Meghan</a> and <a href="http://www.kreativeinkindergarten.com/2015/07/plan-with-me-sundays-erin-condren.html" target="_blank">Robyn</a>. This week we are sharing our Back to School plans with you. I have three different planners that I use and I am hoping that once school starts again, I will be able to be extremely organized.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBBh0v2Sb1DwID0DNcOSQaRfIuHb0oqCPOPFIELxA_MtlJJ50ALAI03asHQ67pezM2_wzmJD7Xox-1Jk5b4P3zoVfS5H9HplThvU95RJMNEDdENXl1vpBFivYy5bWAld8KC-pI-7ida28P/s1600/1.PNG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="397" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjBBh0v2Sb1DwID0DNcOSQaRfIuHb0oqCPOPFIELxA_MtlJJ50ALAI03asHQ67pezM2_wzmJD7Xox-1Jk5b4P3zoVfS5H9HplThvU95RJMNEDdENXl1vpBFivYy5bWAld8KC-pI-7ida28P/s400/1.PNG" width="400" /></a></div>
The first planner I plan on using is my Erin Condren Life planner. I use this planner every single day and I couldn't imagine not writing my life in it. It serves as my to do lists, menu planning, exercise log, scrapbook, and so much more. I am so in love with Erin. :-)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwlhU7-o1fkwOPvslN4f0E7DtN76HZ2P_iQoazAPuGhnF7L4_3vVOtLqZNCvWoOLvQ_c2w_-sGL1qRkw-hCoW2-N0WJuAEJELcIqGQaaK2FHM6G0Argj7cEdaRo0lCnKSdBD6Ena7WElMQ/s1600/IMG_2812.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="365" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwlhU7-o1fkwOPvslN4f0E7DtN76HZ2P_iQoazAPuGhnF7L4_3vVOtLqZNCvWoOLvQ_c2w_-sGL1qRkw-hCoW2-N0WJuAEJELcIqGQaaK2FHM6G0Argj7cEdaRo0lCnKSdBD6Ena7WElMQ/s400/IMG_2812.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
The second planner I plan on using is my new addition to the Condren family. This is my teacher planner. I have never used one of these before, I have always used digital plans or wrote on a printed out template that I created. I can't wait to use this planner this year and decorate it each month!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2tjFo6n05J2maJpVNabCQVUbrLklqgzH-O2S0XczwdM3tDSUP8_QK-Gu1IxkZwQGY1jRH51A6Mv5UKVeshbWH3kTLQKyO4AaZ1xjc5HgNHDNx33MX16qFX8f1XJV7ZBLGF6AU9or6Aflt/s1600/3.PNG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh2tjFo6n05J2maJpVNabCQVUbrLklqgzH-O2S0XczwdM3tDSUP8_QK-Gu1IxkZwQGY1jRH51A6Mv5UKVeshbWH3kTLQKyO4AaZ1xjc5HgNHDNx33MX16qFX8f1XJV7ZBLGF6AU9or6Aflt/s400/3.PNG" width="398" /></a></div>
My third and final planner is how I plan on organizing all of my TpT products, blogging, and my Etsy store. It is a Kikk-K planner, but inside is...<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioCZAfNFfC4dCrGuThEG1YX8ZnzvNW4xCcGwUusEjJXcBkaJN-Fy-Rq0a-t7c71WHrnVIpl3FxMUPxebBfzsat7Bt2hlvT5A4tdCFyqlYW0F2oAAyxRNRvgOAX1QDPrf8uq6hNzS9VQsbB/s1600/2.PNG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEioCZAfNFfC4dCrGuThEG1YX8ZnzvNW4xCcGwUusEjJXcBkaJN-Fy-Rq0a-t7c71WHrnVIpl3FxMUPxebBfzsat7Bt2hlvT5A4tdCFyqlYW0F2oAAyxRNRvgOAX1QDPrf8uq6hNzS9VQsbB/s400/2.PNG" width="400" /></a></div>
Yes, ANOTHER Erin Condren planner. I told you I was in love with my Erins. :-) I uncoiled my life planner and put it in a binder style planner. This is the vertical layout and it makes separating different tasks easy. As you can also see, I love to decorate my planners. I just buy $1 sticker books from Michaels and add my own custom stickers. If you are interested in any of my stickers, you can view my Etsy shop <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/jenuinecraftsco" target="_blank">HERE</a>. There are teacher stickers coming... THIS WEEK! So you don't want to miss out!!<br />
<br />
Of course I couldn't leave you with JUST pictures. I also have a video for you. I take you inside each of my planners and show you how I decorate and plan on a weekly basis.<br />

I have a set of printable planner stickers that could be yours for FREE. All you have to do is <a href="https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Printable-Planner-Stickers-1983140" target="_blank">visit my TpT store</a> for your freebie. My name is Jennifer and this is my 8th year teaching. I taught second grade for six years and this is my second year teaching kindergarten.<br />
<br />
Something I cannot live without is my iPad. I was against iPads at first because I already had a desktop, laptop, and a phone, but it has seriously changed my life. I rarely go into my office now to turn on my desktop computer because most everything can be done on my iPad. It is easier to transport than a laptop and anything you need is just a tap away. It comes with me in every room of the house, while I'm watching TV, and even next to my bed at night.<br />
<br />
My favorite school supply has to be colorful pens. I absolutely love pens! A close second the pens is my Erin Condren planner. I write my whole life in that thing and couldn't live without it.<br />
<br />
My favorite kinder book is a book that I loved when I taught second grade, but since moving to kindergarten, I've fallen in love with it even more. It is Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. It never gets old and if you haven't checked out the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZH4bBMW8eus" target="_blank">Scholastic video version</a>... you NEED to!!<br />
<br />
I have been reading teacher websites/blogs since I was in college, back in 2006. A lot has changes since then and I have so many favorites. My favorite go-to person for kindergarten is Greg Smedley-Warren from <a href="http://www.thekindergartensmorgasboard.com/" target="_blank">The Kindergarden Smorgasboard</a>. He too went from second grade to kindergarten. I follwo his posts religiously and use so many of his ideas. I even watch his YouTube videos during my lunch break with my neighboring teacher for "PD".<br />
<br />
Finally, I love kindergarten because I love seeing how much love and excitement that my students have for learning. They grown so much physically, emotionally, and academically during the year. It truly is an honor being their teacher.<br />
<br />
I hope you were able to get to know me a little better. If you are a kindergarten teacher, make sure to link up and share a little about yourself. Also, feel free to introduce yourself in the comments and let me know your favorite part of kindergarten, or just teaching in general.<br /><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div>

It is my first time this summer. This summer has flown by and I can't believe that I only have one more week left until meetings and two weeks until I meet my new kindergarten students. Since the school year is sneaking up on me, I am in creative mode and crafting up a storm.<br />

As teachers, I feel like we all have something in common... a love for planning. Lesson planning, life planning, to do lists, etc. Over the past few months I have been creating my own planner stickers and I have become a little obsessed.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

After taking a two year break from TpT, I have started updating my old products and creating new ones. One of those includes my Neon Chalkboard Classroom Rules. You can find them <a href="https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Classroom-Rules-Neon-Chalkboard-1964629" target="_blank">HERE</a> for free in my TpT store.<br /><br />

This week is all about our supplies. I am a planner and paper addict so adding to my collection of supplies is always a must for me. I love to craft so planner decoration came naturally to me. I guess you can say I'm a decorative functional planner. I love decorating, but to me, it has to be functional. Today I am going to share with you my top favorite planner supplies that I use every week when I sit down to plan.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi33npQgJU1xYT-sm60s_Yq_2lMIyOH0BmDT1wuw-XPyiRhNBxSg8N3rU8tu36h0S-sz4aCugveJzvKBPIlf24W6RjNK_szt4NUTyU1vd_kYAu6vgV2dfFOglbhh91ShfDWdVeLK_EY9vz_/s1600/IMG_3430.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi33npQgJU1xYT-sm60s_Yq_2lMIyOH0BmDT1wuw-XPyiRhNBxSg8N3rU8tu36h0S-sz4aCugveJzvKBPIlf24W6RjNK_szt4NUTyU1vd_kYAu6vgV2dfFOglbhh91ShfDWdVeLK_EY9vz_/s320/IMG_3430.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

<h2>
My Planner</h2>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmdYFp1fr3sLTbxic-2x2m41kd1FU7RPdSnSP_xavoCPGD1ksT3sYWLXgOhCa2nmdqM1FkXEJcKaNRj4gV-RkZ1nKSgvzJxTR1RrgplON9tIFKommiPwfrLYefwvSVZBTkB1sT0IOzegJU/s1600/FullSizeRender_3.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgmdYFp1fr3sLTbxic-2x2m41kd1FU7RPdSnSP_xavoCPGD1ksT3sYWLXgOhCa2nmdqM1FkXEJcKaNRj4gV-RkZ1nKSgvzJxTR1RrgplON9tIFKommiPwfrLYefwvSVZBTkB1sT0IOzegJU/s1600/FullSizeRender_3.jpg" /></a></div>
My planner is from from Erin Condren. It is the horizontal life planner and I LOVE it!! If you are interested in getting one of your own, I highly suggest it. You can click <a href="https://www.erincondren.com/referral/invite/jenniferruiz-8920" target="_blank">HERE</a> for more information and to receive $10 off your first order.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho3U8PZR5q86xblOQjd4lw8q6p81DYe9GQPckni4Z_CgOk97sl09U-L8jM7ky6Dke8aNI9U4OU8mw53otfHIzqqtiVBPy7aeMQOx3nzElJqwdLz3bF73lTiRpwFCSyzqCNJSAeOyR9qZ0z/s1600/FullSizeRender_2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEho3U8PZR5q86xblOQjd4lw8q6p81DYe9GQPckni4Z_CgOk97sl09U-L8jM7ky6Dke8aNI9U4OU8mw53otfHIzqqtiVBPy7aeMQOx3nzElJqwdLz3bF73lTiRpwFCSyzqCNJSAeOyR9qZ0z/s1600/FullSizeRender_2.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I think that a MUST HAVE product for anyone interested in decorating their planner is washi tape. Washi tape is so easy to use and it can add decorations to any page without adding too much bulk. It's also very functional. I use it a lot to separate sections in my planner to make them stand out. I get all of my washi tape from Michaels and use a 40% off coupon or wait for them to go on sale. It took me quite a while to accumulate this collection.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7eRsb1IZ8lhZ5xSzpJXWTk0I_hvj_uq7Kay0fr6FfPfojo56kzp6gc5YZFKpRl46cvdW2If6jRT4yUgTdVCrjs9JjJ1HMYII0rsLcaS4xasPNVnu1ME6p1J6aX_eF1H3fPcUjSaU7rDnR/s1600/FullSizeRender.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj7eRsb1IZ8lhZ5xSzpJXWTk0I_hvj_uq7Kay0fr6FfPfojo56kzp6gc5YZFKpRl46cvdW2If6jRT4yUgTdVCrjs9JjJ1HMYII0rsLcaS4xasPNVnu1ME6p1J6aX_eF1H3fPcUjSaU7rDnR/s1600/FullSizeRender.jpg" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Another necessity for me is stickers. I love stickers!! My sticker obsession started when I was very young and stuck with me. I usually make my own stickers, but sometimes you need some fun stickers to add some personality to your layouts. I get these stickers from... you guessed it, Michaels. They are only $1 for a whole pack. That's the normal price, not sale price. :-) When I'm not adding decorative stickers, I am adding my custom decorative-functional stickers. If you are interested in checking out my stickers, you can visit my Etsy store <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/JenuineCraftsCo" target="_blank">HERE</a>.</div>
</div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWhhBZxkBXm3Wxb7jS_fG_Bb9CYcwX4SgHabdsz4S4b5FJBMUXsAkX5B0QiLOl0MuOMcLBqbqvBk49pJbwFBpqqU_XpYQMxGCfect6nmfFtHAmc3UifAzfd7FJxaQ-5VDpHl-VMpKdFudd/s1600/FullSizeRender_1.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWhhBZxkBXm3Wxb7jS_fG_Bb9CYcwX4SgHabdsz4S4b5FJBMUXsAkX5B0QiLOl0MuOMcLBqbqvBk49pJbwFBpqqU_XpYQMxGCfect6nmfFtHAmc3UifAzfd7FJxaQ-5VDpHl-VMpKdFudd/s1600/FullSizeRender_1.jpg" /></a></div>
What's planning without some great pens. I love my flair pens, but I also love Staedtler pens. They come in a variety of colors and I love that it comes with a carrying case. I picked this set up from Target.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVdliKvpIXtmOL-4goBnlk0eOn_1b9dvrYW-EDTQcjB185T4GrrGugJreobNnBtYsZt64iXnfjCYOKkxAVuVYDp4viJQAZu5bSRCbeuZGU4iIKMP1dlQ-6CkrZmpmnc2_byS5SuQDRxE99/s1600/IMG_2827.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVdliKvpIXtmOL-4goBnlk0eOn_1b9dvrYW-EDTQcjB185T4GrrGugJreobNnBtYsZt64iXnfjCYOKkxAVuVYDp4viJQAZu5bSRCbeuZGU4iIKMP1dlQ-6CkrZmpmnc2_byS5SuQDRxE99/s320/IMG_2827.JPG" width="255" /></a></div>
I love me some bright, colorful pens, but sometimes you just need a good ol' black ballpoint pen. That doesn't mean it has to be boring. I got these beauties from <a href="http://www.pengems.com/" target="_blank">Pen Gems</a> and I love that I can have gorgeous pens that are functional as well.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCI7fLQz4bYNd43gT8gH2FI8IsU5T61TEzT6-_3R6vfarKsX0EuQHuqYKjcWTG80b1zqTe0RxKMOIU-s5Ei26ASevt3ckz-v4BvBZCKpmkkCpCBIqyRakwyGTYXbHP6-TXcnATaeKeXWgw/s1600/FullSizeRender_4.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjCI7fLQz4bYNd43gT8gH2FI8IsU5T61TEzT6-_3R6vfarKsX0EuQHuqYKjcWTG80b1zqTe0RxKMOIU-s5Ei26ASevt3ckz-v4BvBZCKpmkkCpCBIqyRakwyGTYXbHP6-TXcnATaeKeXWgw/s1600/FullSizeRender_4.jpg" /></a></div>
My last favorite is not necessarily a planner supply, but it's where I store all of my supplies. This is a Vera Bradley bag that is intended for cosmetics. It works perfectly for planner supplies as well. If you are interested in one of your own, you can purchase it <a href="http://www.verabradley.com/product/hanging-travel-organizer/ziggy-zinnia/1000947_198225.uts" target="_blank">HERE</a>. If you want to see what's inside this bag, I made a video all about it <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=924Zqa9Pd0M" target="_blank">HERE</a>.<br />
<br />
I hope you enjoyed taking a peak at all of my favorites. I have also created a video sharing these products too.<br />

<div style="text-align: left;">
I'm sure many of you are aware of the TpT conference that took place last week. Well even though this photo isn't from this week, I am still reflecting on that week, this week. I wrote a post all about it <a href="http://www.jennuineteaching.com/2015/07/tptvegas15-recap.html" target="_blank">HERE</a>. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
At the TpT conference we got some sweet swag bags! It included a mug, hand sanitizer, pen, and this notebook. I am in love with this notebook and as you can see, we are BFFs. Why is that? Well this week I have been overwhelmed with inspiration and I needed a place to write it all down. This notebook goes with me everywhere now. Even in the bathroom, next to the shower (where I get all of my best ideas).</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipK-BQJek-CkCO-oNiNxDupBHAAyqMV5nSfV_IgdgOTI6Sl3dJRJ3DHdasiqD1xyFJU6H5mmqgQI6BNpaZIT-MITLIBoSLX94ykeTrWFtmGzuG-Vts8DiHogP7HG44BAEU_RZbOT_mWpNW/s1600/4.PNG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEipK-BQJek-CkCO-oNiNxDupBHAAyqMV5nSfV_IgdgOTI6Sl3dJRJ3DHdasiqD1xyFJU6H5mmqgQI6BNpaZIT-MITLIBoSLX94ykeTrWFtmGzuG-Vts8DiHogP7HG44BAEU_RZbOT_mWpNW/s400/4.PNG" width="400" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I promise this is the last picture that is related to TpT, but I mean come on, how awesome is it to have a place where you can find quality products created by amazing teachers!? Well, I finally invested in the KG Font lifetime license. I have been putting it off for far too long and it only keeps increasing in price. I am so glad that I purchased it. Now I can be creative without worrying if I have the license for a specific font.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
Summer is coming to an end. I wish the summer heat would go away with it, but that will be around still fora few months. Last year I was moving to a new school and a new grade and I had A LOT of moving in and setting up. This year I am in the same classroom and same grade so setting up this year is a breeze. I was planning on creating a classroom theme this year, but then I realized I already had one without even trying. Can you guess what it is? If you guessed rainbow, then you are correct! I love my colorful rainbow classroom. I am actually sitting in my home office creating new things to use in my class.</div>

<br />
What a week it has been. I just got back from Vegas yesterday and I wanted to to recap everything I learned from my time in Vegas. If you didn't know, I went to Vegas for the TpT conference. It was my first time every going to the conference and it was AMAZING. I met so many wonderful people that I hope to stay in contact with.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjaWpjEnhM_Bz86Y65-LmxAmxAitPJ_3x4HSYqo2V_Vt4EN6GrdannjZBb8qsCvD6EJDw9JM3tmLSNl0FNvDYu_MiBijPuBiFxzeUKdbTEFN_dFr5hXs5yDjsYtpMMrG8MtZb58tUf49dOp/s1600/IMG_3077.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjaWpjEnhM_Bz86Y65-LmxAmxAitPJ_3x4HSYqo2V_Vt4EN6GrdannjZBb8qsCvD6EJDw9JM3tmLSNl0FNvDYu_MiBijPuBiFxzeUKdbTEFN_dFr5hXs5yDjsYtpMMrG8MtZb58tUf49dOp/s400/IMG_3077.JPG" width="370" /></a></div>
Now before I share with you my experience in Vegas, I first want to state that I have been selling on TpT since 2012. I took a two year break and I just now getting back into it. This conference is for everyone! If you are an experienced seller or just a beginner, everyone can get something from being in Vegas.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_mnn2oxjh6QcRhlNexxV8PkDTz9JtdHI5DtJU2dqHdaiWv8ZJUCDMk93r7mCWmd96fUWmdPTCltld4HsiCDbmHwGJOABcg_xJ4xDsW6ng23JmusNKvc_m5eCzjl8fHWwSqDK1KewXPeXs/s1600/IMG_3236.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_mnn2oxjh6QcRhlNexxV8PkDTz9JtdHI5DtJU2dqHdaiWv8ZJUCDMk93r7mCWmd96fUWmdPTCltld4HsiCDbmHwGJOABcg_xJ4xDsW6ng23JmusNKvc_m5eCzjl8fHWwSqDK1KewXPeXs/s400/IMG_3236.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
I went to the conference with my BFF. I have to say that I was a little overwhelmed at first because there were so many people! The first night we went to the TpT meetup hosted by <a href="http://www.whattheteacherwants.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">What the Teacher Wants</a>. This was the best part of the trip for me because I was finally able to meet all of the teachers that I have looked up to for years.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinOxeJYjZjzVA0KYUzJg5pAvgWUpwyErvQWPaUpQgzQwgiSlP7AynERQ4B2aBow4imPAVwOblmOTNHn2p2FloZ63XvU2Dy48OJPuMSK09uIF2dgYXEHyMTnWb6p2MwwgghvnpW1ts0HjAg/s1600/IMG_3112.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinOxeJYjZjzVA0KYUzJg5pAvgWUpwyErvQWPaUpQgzQwgiSlP7AynERQ4B2aBow4imPAVwOblmOTNHn2p2FloZ63XvU2Dy48OJPuMSK09uIF2dgYXEHyMTnWb6p2MwwgghvnpW1ts0HjAg/s400/IMG_3112.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPjA6motM1ULZrbSXg16oihai3gUds0rrUmWnZJuvsPd3oKovK4lPqjzZZgyeAFSgZgnkaqoybpC6oke0cFgMUf5JBZfgU2cY6t3uD-Ea4oep4tFXjhwCI9gnyaEZn6nAcjF8HcfwWVfFx/s1600/IMG_3401.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPjA6motM1ULZrbSXg16oihai3gUds0rrUmWnZJuvsPd3oKovK4lPqjzZZgyeAFSgZgnkaqoybpC6oke0cFgMUf5JBZfgU2cY6t3uD-Ea4oep4tFXjhwCI9gnyaEZn6nAcjF8HcfwWVfFx/s400/IMG_3401.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
It was amazing to be around like minded people who all love to teach. They not only inspire me as a teacher, but they also inspire imagination, creativity, and learning in the classroom. I am so lucky to say that I am part of the TpT and blogging community. I have always been my happiest in the classroom when I am communicating and interacting with others in the community.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh97sZOdczFGdm8M0aJXTtfNBVXqpWpxUTPocIaa1QPtWtjx-XyNjFVXVHq0eqOlvWK2rY47Hu14oKWrOXL8jw8F27rN4RkKp7-tLPqXs8LBLX80nbXjmeaUqmZKn61MCi3bLaP2gOB__uu/s1600/IMG_3127.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh97sZOdczFGdm8M0aJXTtfNBVXqpWpxUTPocIaa1QPtWtjx-XyNjFVXVHq0eqOlvWK2rY47Hu14oKWrOXL8jw8F27rN4RkKp7-tLPqXs8LBLX80nbXjmeaUqmZKn61MCi3bLaP2gOB__uu/s400/IMG_3127.JPG" width="300" /></a></div>
My goal this year is to get back into the community. I have goals for myself that I will put into place and hopefully this time next year, I will meet those goals and be working towards new ones. Thank you Tpt and everyone else for the motivation to get back into this community and to help me continue my journey.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Of course there was also time for some fun, like eating ice cream at Serendipity and winning a GoNoodle shirt for trivia.<br />
<br />
I would say that the big take away from the entire trip is to never give up. Keep working and good things will happen. Put quality into your work and create things that people can value. Create things that you are passionate about.<br />
<br />
So to all of the new friends I met and all of the future connections I make, thank you all for being part of this amazing community.<br /><br />

Welcome to Plan With Me Sundays Blog Hop! This is my first time participating and I am so excited! I have been a planner all of my life and I absolutely love writing things down and organizing my life. This week I wanted to link up with <a href="http://keepingupwithmrsharris.com/" target="_blank">Keeping up with Mrs. Harris</a> and <a href="http://www.kreativeinkindergarten.com/" target="_blank">Kreative in Kindergarten</a> because I love looking at other people's planners.<br />
<br />
Before I share with you my planner(s) I just want to let you know that I have THREE, yes three. One is my personal planner with my every day to do lists, chores, appointments, etc. My second is my business planner. I use this to organize things for work, my TpT store and blog, as well as my Etsy. The third planner is my Erin Condren teaching planner. I will not be sharing that planner this week, but you can learn all about it <a href="http://www.jennuineteaching.com/2015/06/erin-condren-teacher-planner.html" target="_blank">HERE</a>.<br />
<br />
I will be sharing two of my planners here with you today.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYmWKjrj_Hc0m5ne5mWiIubelvjgNMOknq-1JuvVfYbcg00tCcQbufIENp8Na56fMu7kZhlc-t7XMYiPNtHIx5kuMvyp5KqGUMlvcUxo2QfKAU_e-yVQdQ8tBVimz9MKeZapkdFMKyfKi3/s1600/business+planner.png" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjYmWKjrj_Hc0m5ne5mWiIubelvjgNMOknq-1JuvVfYbcg00tCcQbufIENp8Na56fMu7kZhlc-t7XMYiPNtHIx5kuMvyp5KqGUMlvcUxo2QfKAU_e-yVQdQ8tBVimz9MKeZapkdFMKyfKi3/s1600/business+planner.png" /></a></div>
The first is my business planner. It is an Erin Condren planner in the vertical layout. I love this layout because it is broken down into three sections. I uncoiled my EC planner and put it into my Kikki-K binder. It is so easy to use it this way because I am able to insert extra pages that I need.<br />
<br />
I create my own stickers so I can customize my headers to fit my needs. My work section is to organize things for work (classroom to dos, things to copy, things to grade, reminders, etc). My TpT section is where I put all of my blog information, updates, and products that I need to work on. My Etsy section is all related to my Etsy store (things I need to do, orders I need to fill, etc.)<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYYpGlQiaKRQtu2nH2SmCPUOOeBSHuLGUmIQlIFpwqGmeoQODxg4-I6yb7aEGd8_j_F8uEUgEqr25ZBmJSECresdh13hYrIzs7KegslnPv2rhLXeAoTVWmS8MlgLTHJk3iZ2t8GWe5FjwY/s1600/IMG_3018.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYYpGlQiaKRQtu2nH2SmCPUOOeBSHuLGUmIQlIFpwqGmeoQODxg4-I6yb7aEGd8_j_F8uEUgEqr25ZBmJSECresdh13hYrIzs7KegslnPv2rhLXeAoTVWmS8MlgLTHJk3iZ2t8GWe5FjwY/s400/IMG_3018.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
My planner this week is decorated and all ready to go for Vegas. Since I will be on vacation, I won't be working too much, but I still wanted a layout that matched my week.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaRCCJZY7ppHpeT29HP4fvlDMfR8FhSmCDvRzAPLt1qIlMmLoeCX1-1hPyIx0V4a62CYLTvIMJcDLecmwSK_gJKQLNwlYR7r5EQ73vpaWErvD3vCfAfXoUc_tlg_8ZZmb5E6V4zFWeFpr5/s1600/IMG_3015.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgaRCCJZY7ppHpeT29HP4fvlDMfR8FhSmCDvRzAPLt1qIlMmLoeCX1-1hPyIx0V4a62CYLTvIMJcDLecmwSK_gJKQLNwlYR7r5EQ73vpaWErvD3vCfAfXoUc_tlg_8ZZmb5E6V4zFWeFpr5/s400/IMG_3015.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
The stickers are ones that I created for myself. I have a section for work, TpT, and Etsy. I also created Instagram stickers to track and remind myself to post on my personal Instagram as well as my teaching Instagram. The hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades were also created by me. <br />

The rest of the stickers are from an Elvis sheet that I got from Hobby Lobby. I also embellished with washi tape because who doesn't love washi?<br />
<br />
If you want to see in detail how I planned this week, I made a plan with me video that you can watch. :-)<br />

In addition to my business planner, I also have my personal planner. It is also from Erin Condren. I keep this one coiled and it is the horizontal layout. I have so much more room to write in this layout, which I love.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Again, I am using stickers that I designed myself. It was my first week in my horizontal Erin Condren so I am still figuring things out. I do like writing and illustrating something that stood out from the day. It's kind of like a mini scrapbook. I probably won't always do that, but it's a nice way to use that space for now. </div>

A little over three weeks until school starts back up again. How is that even possible? Since it's July 1st I am linking up with <a href="http://www.ohboy3rdgrade.blogspot.com/2015/06/currently-july-2015.html" target="_blank">Farley</a> for another monthly currently.<br />

<br />
<b>Listening: </b>I am currently listening to my fan in my office/craft room because it is so hot outside. I know a lot of people are getting nervous about the Vegas heat, but I'm hoping it's a few degrees cooler than Phoenix. It's been rough! I'm also watching YouTube videos, as I do every day. ;-)<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>Loving: </b>I am loving all of this free time that I have. Sure I have things that I need to be getting done, but being able to fit it in whenever I want is really nice!<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>Thinking: </b>Usually I have to rush to eat breakfast in the morning or skip it and hear my stomach growl and rumble until lunch time. It is so nice being able to eat breakfast whenever I want and I have the luxury to make whatever I want and eat it at my own pace.<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>Wanting: </b>I, like many of us, am wanting to be in Vegas. Only 6 more days!! Are you ready?<br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>Needing: </b>I am really needing to work on my masters this summer. My goal was to get 4 1/2 classes done. So far I have 3 3/4 left of classes. I have 2 months to finish them, will I get them done... hopefully. <br />
<b><br /></b>
<b>All Star: </b>This can go with the last part and that is procrastinating. I always have so many ideas and projects going on that I often procrastinate on other things. I am always hard at work on something, but that means that something else is being left behind. Hmmmm... maybe I'm good at multitasking then! :-)<br />
<br />
So what are you up to? Make sure to link up and share your currently.<br />

I am a planner girl for sure and the struggle is real! I love anything colorful and organized. This planner meets both of those requirements and so much more!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_5mxm91ICnpnKuwZr-apSLBdD6nwVEsRK1fDD5JIRUGgEvFnZNKbPbfsmyRWlbOL5k36Sd6i_uBA1CnpOJyiQn-9k7geOq9ni-P-jrfxWalcy2eiDTyclpvDo5KzFc0OcsPa8OianXNMB/s1600/IMG_2812.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh_5mxm91ICnpnKuwZr-apSLBdD6nwVEsRK1fDD5JIRUGgEvFnZNKbPbfsmyRWlbOL5k36Sd6i_uBA1CnpOJyiQn-9k7geOq9ni-P-jrfxWalcy2eiDTyclpvDo5KzFc0OcsPa8OianXNMB/s1600/IMG_2812.JPG" /></a></div>
First of all, let's just look at this cover. Isn't it amazing? Not only does it have two of my favorite colors, but the message on the front is the perfect thing to read on a daily basis, especially when you're having... <i>one of those days</i>. It is also removable, so if you like to switch up your planners, all you have to do is order a new cover. You can even custom make your own cover!!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCGmqaBy6EfxckIc0JPVSa3oTwp8MD_H237xUR6yu_Ty7FlS5ubbNYtzbQ2P0wiGSVovmTXoB2W24cdblm8f49xGgI4d4MNf6HOBy4lV3fBo8eyLc8-zrRIp2uq5FkutSP4xPxN-TOuwcQ/s1600/IMG_2813.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhCGmqaBy6EfxckIc0JPVSa3oTwp8MD_H237xUR6yu_Ty7FlS5ubbNYtzbQ2P0wiGSVovmTXoB2W24cdblm8f49xGgI4d4MNf6HOBy4lV3fBo8eyLc8-zrRIp2uq5FkutSP4xPxN-TOuwcQ/s1600/IMG_2813.JPG" /></a></div>
If you are an Erin Condren life planner user, you will know how great of a planner this really is. The teacher planner has the same exact quality of the life planner. Only it is 8 1/2" x 11". I was surprised when I first received it, but it is so handy to have it in a larger size.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVeroiQbJKkIdhLOaMw7UniiGlAo_UIpK4YLOsv7ybYEiDnFAhuwYNs_-7VcLNXj8DB5PlVnWv-o0UBRvye5v2WSmIC_yUyOH1epF2lN02U_jmqgWI3m6O3Nq7kw-zNVZIrNT4lJtlsik_/s1600/IMG_2814.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhVeroiQbJKkIdhLOaMw7UniiGlAo_UIpK4YLOsv7ybYEiDnFAhuwYNs_-7VcLNXj8DB5PlVnWv-o0UBRvye5v2WSmIC_yUyOH1epF2lN02U_jmqgWI3m6O3Nq7kw-zNVZIrNT4lJtlsik_/s1600/IMG_2814.JPG" /></a></div>
There are many different sections in this planner and I am going to show you just a few of them. To view the <i>ENTIRE</i> planner, make sure to check out my video towards the end of this post. This year at a glance page is perfect for long range planning and organizing your themes and units.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIUUxH5kNuvlPFilH5Yr3H_lv8BFjrAk9nHz5HA7b__q80I4v7v1y_W8_KWnQeym8zPZqRhLE6R_3w-GOrzWWEC_9vMpkZrbJdp4qlSsP4C8ON_lZf3izpBV03sDgTKWwAjGnNudX74O3Z/s1600/IMG_2815.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgIUUxH5kNuvlPFilH5Yr3H_lv8BFjrAk9nHz5HA7b__q80I4v7v1y_W8_KWnQeym8zPZqRhLE6R_3w-GOrzWWEC_9vMpkZrbJdp4qlSsP4C8ON_lZf3izpBV03sDgTKWwAjGnNudX74O3Z/s1600/IMG_2815.JPG" /></a></div>
Another big difference from the life planner, are the calendars. The calendars are all tabbed, but they are next to each other with a note section between each month. This is the perfect place to take notes from staff meetings, parent conferences, lesson ideas, etc.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWCBehffi61rBFWbwm1XIthyphenhyphenxT4I8T5_s0HcXn4XAyx5otXMWcFr9GkLWLySKccC8NItewddeuwhXFFjiJcNS7iNDX4ICsoNol9gXsD1Wcp9APIPT8MGdkqMEpKVbSaROx0IILTIbEwnCJ/s1600/IMG_2816.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiWCBehffi61rBFWbwm1XIthyphenhyphenxT4I8T5_s0HcXn4XAyx5otXMWcFr9GkLWLySKccC8NItewddeuwhXFFjiJcNS7iNDX4ICsoNol9gXsD1Wcp9APIPT8MGdkqMEpKVbSaROx0IILTIbEwnCJ/s1600/IMG_2816.JPG" /></a></div>
Now for the exciting part... the lesson plan section! I'm going to be honest with you all here. Remember when I told you that the struggle was real? Well, it's true. I turn in my lesson plans online weekly. I have <i>NO NEED</i> for a physical lesson planner, but just look at it!! It's so gorgeous!! I plan on making weekly or monthly <i>(not sure yet)</i> plan with me videos and posts on how I plan each week. Something even more exciting is that I have an Etsy sticker store where I make planner stickers. I just opened... <b>TODAY</b>, but will be closing on Friday July 3rd so I can prepare for the TpT conference in Vegas. I will be having a grand opening July 20th and I will be including... wait for it... TEACHER PLANNER STICKERS!! If you are in the planner community, you know that there are not a lot of planner stickers out there for us teachers. If you have any requests just let me know in the comments below.<br />
<br />
**On a side note- If you are interested in purchasing planner stickers or are just interested you can visit my Etsy shop <a href="https://www.etsy.com/shop/jenuinecraftsco" target="_blank">Jenuine Crafts Co</a><a href="http://./">.</a> If you want to stay updated you can visit my <a href="https://www.facebook.com/JenuineCraftsCo" target="_blank">FB page</a>.<br />

Erin Condren did include very practical stickers for us though in a variety of colors.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFeNKA3mjEY4BfcGjbhXuh-hqe1QMsuo65fqy-Kq5KqDfOWm0wTpS4vfcv8Jv-FPolHch0Aa4ODfcDl8spCUkzb4ni0CE9ZY9LSqdQ5Szj6OwvaQX1pmISI22_h0euPlibFoQplpEWlP1t/s1600/IMG_2818.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgFeNKA3mjEY4BfcGjbhXuh-hqe1QMsuo65fqy-Kq5KqDfOWm0wTpS4vfcv8Jv-FPolHch0Aa4ODfcDl8spCUkzb4ni0CE9ZY9LSqdQ5Szj6OwvaQX1pmISI22_h0euPlibFoQplpEWlP1t/s1600/IMG_2818.JPG" /></a></div>
It also includes blank stickers that you can customize to meet your needs.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEU85lcG1S1fXTnUUsZ0Z7VP4iTXW60XpOPcKSYdlE751cTbemVcuNI_sl8x7awo9RvHJpMnF2Lu9cyl9BFzzqRvnvrCwg2gkkayGwRCwTNqTFKPR0TF9trYP-vNva6vBVW0DoAlGNkJV8/s1600/IMG_2819.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEU85lcG1S1fXTnUUsZ0Z7VP4iTXW60XpOPcKSYdlE751cTbemVcuNI_sl8x7awo9RvHJpMnF2Lu9cyl9BFzzqRvnvrCwg2gkkayGwRCwTNqTFKPR0TF9trYP-vNva6vBVW0DoAlGNkJV8/s1600/IMG_2819.JPG" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Something that I love is the keep it together folder. It is double sided and fits 8 1/2" x 11" paper perfectly. So many times I get a handout from a meeting or in my mailbox that I just throw on my desk when I get into my classroom. This allows me to file it away in a place I won't loose it. Then when it's time to put it in the correct place, I know where it is.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOETRbOxfiIea-pLDY08ZTw76O5NMTF1fSatHiI2pwR_3NLzjtkAOvEOF-Kzzs9zM81xrpnQoFk-cseSpOyIdnZV7K5BHseSfH7XdjVudqYfpnYibXAtgYfqRB1ptNVjCFL5tPqpIVBSRG/s1600/IMG_28118.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjOETRbOxfiIea-pLDY08ZTw76O5NMTF1fSatHiI2pwR_3NLzjtkAOvEOF-Kzzs9zM81xrpnQoFk-cseSpOyIdnZV7K5BHseSfH7XdjVudqYfpnYibXAtgYfqRB1ptNVjCFL5tPqpIVBSRG/s1600/IMG_28118.JPG" /></a></div>
In the back there is a page protector. It is really sturdy. In the front I have my school calendar and once the school year starts I am going to put my class list with phone numbers and addresses because I am always looking them up online!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKK4ud7Xw7NYrnzM2-_B-xVEcOsW-YToxm8h2nStmJky49mfg9q0P_35ygQKxNylGgETbclrGub4Rmb9Pc1I6VB5VmNa7tzyYeB4dmtg0i8TEbCvDSlzb2qPE1Q0dFu5D3wl0mPj0zkNr_/s1600/IMG_2821.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjKK4ud7Xw7NYrnzM2-_B-xVEcOsW-YToxm8h2nStmJky49mfg9q0P_35ygQKxNylGgETbclrGub4Rmb9Pc1I6VB5VmNa7tzyYeB4dmtg0i8TEbCvDSlzb2qPE1Q0dFu5D3wl0mPj0zkNr_/s1600/IMG_2821.JPG" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The back has a little pocket with some freebies. I'm excited for this pocket. Remember that Etsy shop of mine I mentioned earlier? Well, my stickers will fit in there <i>perfectly</i>. That way you will always have them on hand! I also purchased a separate pen loop which is essential since I am always misplacing my pens. </div>
