Teacher Toolbox and Planner Stickers

I just finished my first week of school and am I so glad that it is over. It was a good first week, but it is always so tiring. I will be blogging about my first week later this week, but first let's talk about Monday Made It.
This week I created a lot of things. There are a few in particular that I am very proud of. My first is my planner stickers. I created them a few weeks ago, but I finally got around to putting them in my TpT store.
This week was the first one with my planner and I loved my header stickers. It was a nice way to clearly see each any every one of my subjects that I had to teach throughout the week.

If you want to get yourself a copy, you can get them HERE. They are editable and you will be able to print as many out as you would like. I prefer using full sheet sticker paper and a paper cutter. It makes planning fun and colorful!!

Speaking of planning and organization, I finally got around to updating my teacher toolbox.
A few years ago I had a gorgeous classroom carpet that unfortunately I had to leave at my old school. I will one day have that carpet again, even if that means purchasing it myself. I mean look how gorgeous it was!!
Well, needless to say, my matching teacher toolbox no longer matched. That's when i decided I needed a new toolbox to match my new theme...rainbow!! I was sad to see my old labels go, but I am so excited to look at this colorful and clean toolbox every day. One of my teammates was looking for a pencil and it was so easy to point her to my toolbox and tell her it was in the drawer labeled pencils.

I made two versions of my teacher toolbox. Editable and Non-Editable that are available in my TpT shop.

What have you created this week?

  1. I'm so jealous of people with cute planners! We use planbook, which is convenient, but I do miss writing things out!

    1. I also use an online lesson planner. We plan as a team so we do it online and submit it to our principal. Then I go back and transfer the highlights to my own planner. It's so much easier to refer to my paper planner than printing the electronic plans out or referencing the computer all of the time. It's more work, but totally worth it!

  2. Great planner stickers! Now if I just had a planner to stick them in! :) I've been using PowerPoint. I would love a darling planner, though. Hmmm.

    1. You are going to love the teacher toolbox. Not only does it help keep me organized, but it also helps out my teammates. The other day we were planning together and they knew exactly where to go for pencils and paper clips. It saved us so much time.

    1. Planners are a dangerous addiction. Don't even get me started. I have Filofaxes, Erin Condren, Kikki-K. Then the stickers... oh my!! $1 sticker books from Micahels are my guilty pleasure. I love driving to Michaels on a Sunday afternoon and just drooling over all of them. Haha!!

Magic Answer (Flip Chute)

Don't we all just love Pinterest? I know I do! I have been wanting to implement math centers into my routine this year and I slowly want to teach my students games that can one day be part of their math centers. I am currently working on a math fluency "program" (future post) and I knew that I wanted math facts to be a big part of my math centers. I saw this flip chute on pinterest and I thought it was perfect. I went ahead and made one of my own. It was actually pretty easy. There is a video on Classroom DIY, but I decided to do a more step-by-step video. You can see that video here. I also  made a template in word that you can go ahead and type your questions and answers into. Click the photo to visit my TPT where you can download the template for free.

3-2-1 Teacher Bio {Weekend Warriors}

I am linking up with Weekend Warriors to let you know a little bit about myself. I love getting to know other teachers and thought this would be a fun way to do it.   1. I love being a teacher and I have wanted to be one every since I was a little girl. I even turned my closet into a classroom and taught my sister and gave her homework to do. Even when she was done playing with me I would continue to play teacher by myself and my Barbies. If you peak into my classroom I am always with my students. I am either sitting on the floor with them reading a story, sitting at their tables during math time, and even dancing during Go Noodle with them. I love my job and being able to be a kid at heart 7 hours a day is pretty awesome!! 2.  I absolutely love center time. I love making and creating fun and engaging centers for my students and this year I am even going to add an additional math center time. This is a time where my students get to unwind a little, have some fun, ...

Show and Tell Wednesday

I'm excited to announce that I am starting a new link up. It is called Show and Tell Wednesday. Every Wednesday I will be hosting a linky party. This is a place where you can share anything you would like. All you have to do is write a blog post about something you would like to share and tell us about it. It can be something from your TPT store, an activity that you did in your class, or anything else school/teaching related. I always love learning new things from fellow teachers and I'm always searching for new ideas. Here are a few rules for the link up. Become a follower of my blog. This is not necessary, but occasionally I will be doing giveaways and in order to be considered for the giveaway, you must be a follower. Also, you don't want to miss anything in the future! :-) Add the Show and Tell button on your blog post that you link up. Visit the person before your link and leave them some thoughtful feedback. Have fun!!!!  Here is my show and tell for the week. School...
