Team Member Gifts

Happy Monday! Today is my last day of summer vacation. I have meetings this week, but I am going in today to have a team meeting with my wonderful kindergarten team. This year I am team lead and I wanted to share my appreciation with some beginning of the year gifts. Teaching all day can be tiring and at the end of the day it's not unusual for some of us to forget to drink water. I have two HUGE water cups that I bring to work every day, but it never hurts to have more. I added vinyl to these mason jar cups for my team mates. Hopefully we will all stay hydrated this school year. The next part of their gift are some goodies from my favorite place... Target!! I just packaged up some of my favorite dollar spot finds and closed it up with some washi tape. This past week I went into my classroom and set everything up. I wanted to be able to relax this week and focus on lesson planning this week. I have been creating custom stickers for my Erin Condren lesson planner and I ha

Back to School Planning

I am linking up for another Plan with Me Sundays! This wonderful linky up is hosted by Meghan and Robyn . This week we are sharing our Back to School plans with you. I have three different planners that I use and I am hoping that once school starts again, I will be able to be extremely organized. The first planner I plan on using is my Erin Condren Life planner. I use this planner every single day and I couldn't imagine not writing my life in it. It serves as my to do lists, menu planning, exercise log, scrapbook, and so much more. I am so in love with Erin. :-) The second planner I plan on using is my new addition to the Condren family. This is my teacher planner. I have never used one of these before, I have always used digital plans or wrote on a printed out template that I created. I can't wait to use this planner this year and decorate it each month!! My third and final planner is how I plan on organizing all of my TpT products, blogging, and my Etsy store. I

Kinder Tribe

I am linking up to the Kinder Tribe post all about... me! My name is Jennifer and this is my 8th year teaching. I taught second grade for six years and this is my second year teaching kindergarten. Something I cannot live without is my iPad. I was against iPads at first because I already had a desktop, laptop, and a phone, but it has seriously changed my life. I rarely go into my office now to turn on my desktop computer because most everything can be done on my iPad. It is easier to transport than a laptop and anything you need is just a tap away. It comes with me in every room of the house, while I'm watching TV, and even next to my bed at night. My favorite school supply has to be colorful pens. I absolutely love pens! A close second the pens is my Erin Condren planner. I write my whole life in that thing and couldn't live without it. My favorite kinder book is a book that I loved when I taught second grade, but since moving to kindergarten, I've fallen in lov

Monday Made It Planner Stickers

Today I am linking up for Monday Made It. It is my first time this summer. This summer has flown by and I can't believe that I only have one more week left until meetings and two weeks until I meet my new kindergarten students. Since the school year is sneaking up on me, I am in creative mode and crafting up a storm. As teachers, I feel like we all have something in common... a love for planning. Lesson planning, life planning, to do lists, etc. Over the past few months I have been creating my own planner stickers and I have become a little obsessed. I plan on making more as well as stickers for my teacher planner and lesson planner. If you are interested in some of my stickers, you can find them HERE . After taking a two year break from TpT, I have started updating my old products and creating new ones. One of those includes my Neon Chalkboard Classroom Rules. You can find them HERE for free in my TpT store.

Planner Supplies

Today I am linking up with Keeping Up With Mrs. Harris and Kreative in Kindergarten for another Plan with Me Sunday. This week is all about our supplies. I am a planner and paper addict so adding to my collection of supplies is always a must for me. I love to craft so planner decoration came naturally to me. I guess you can say I'm a decorative functional planner. I love decorating, but to me, it has to be functional. Today I am going to share with you my top favorite planner supplies that I use every week when I sit down to plan. My Planner  My planner is from from Erin Condren. It is the horizontal life planner and I LOVE it!! If you are interested in getting one of your own, I highly suggest it. You can click HERE for more information and to receive $10 off your first order. I think that a MUST HAVE product for anyone interested in decorating their planner is washi tape. Washi tape is so easy to use and it can add decorations to any page without adding too

Five for Fiday

Today I am linking up with Doodle Bugs for Five for Friday.  I'm sure many of you are aware of the TpT conference that took place last week. Well even though this photo isn't from this week, I am still reflecting on that week, this week. I wrote a post all about it HERE .   At the TpT conference we got some sweet swag bags! It included a mug, hand sanitizer, pen, and this notebook. I am in love with this notebook and as you can see, we are BFFs. Why is that? Well this week I have been overwhelmed with inspiration and I needed a place to write it all down. This notebook goes with me everywhere now. Even in the bathroom, next to the shower (where I get all of my best ideas). I promise this is the last picture that is related to TpT, but I mean come on, how awesome is it to have a place where you can find quality products created by amazing teachers!? Well, I finally invested in the KG Font lifetime license. I have been putting it off for far too long and it on

#TpTVegas15 Recap

What a week it has been. I just got back from Vegas yesterday and I wanted to to recap everything I learned from my time in Vegas. If you didn't know, I went to Vegas for the TpT conference. It was my first time every going to the conference and it was AMAZING. I met so many wonderful people that I hope to stay in contact with. Now before I share with you my experience in Vegas, I first want to state that I have been selling on TpT since 2012. I took a two year break and I just now getting back into it. This conference is for everyone! If you are an experienced seller or just a beginner, everyone can get something from being in Vegas.  I went to the conference with my BFF. I have to say that I was a little overwhelmed at first because there were so many people! The first night we went to the TpT meetup hosted by What the Teacher Wants . This was the best part of the trip for me because I was finally able to meet all of the teachers that I have looked up to for years.

Plan With Me Sunday Blog Hop

Welcome to Plan With Me Sundays Blog Hop! This is my first time participating and I am so excited! I have been a planner all of my life and I absolutely love writing things down and organizing my life. This week I wanted to link up with Keeping up with Mrs. Harris and Kreative in Kindergarten because I love looking at other people's planners. Before I share with you my planner(s) I just want to let you know that I have THREE, yes three. One is my personal planner with my every day to do lists, chores, appointments, etc. My second is my business planner. I use this to organize things for work, my TpT store and blog, as well as my Etsy. The third planner is my Erin Condren teaching planner. I will not be sharing that planner this week, but you can learn all about it HERE . I will be sharing two of my planners here with you today. The first is my business planner. It is an Erin Condren planner in the vertical layout. I love this layout because it is broken down into thre

July Currently

I cannot believe that it is July already. A little over three weeks until school starts back up again. How is that even possible? Since it's July 1st I am linking up with Farley for another monthly currently. Listening: I am currently listening to my fan in my office/craft room because it is so hot outside. I know a lot of people are getting nervous about the Vegas heat, but I'm hoping it's a few degrees cooler than Phoenix. It's been rough! I'm also watching YouTube videos, as I do every day. ;-) Loving: I am loving all of this free time that I have. Sure I have things that I need to be getting done, but being able to fit it in whenever I want is really nice! Thinking: Usually I have to rush to eat breakfast in the morning or skip it and hear my stomach growl and rumble until lunch time. It is so nice being able to eat breakfast whenever I want and I have the luxury to make whatever I want and eat it at my own pace. Wanting: I, like many of us, am wanti
