Planner Supplies

Today I am linking up with Keeping Up With Mrs. Harris and Kreative in Kindergarten for another Plan with Me Sunday.

This week is all about our supplies. I am a planner and paper addict so adding to my collection of supplies is always a must for me. I love to craft so planner decoration came naturally to me. I guess you can say I'm a decorative functional planner. I love decorating, but to me, it has to be functional. Today I am going to share with you my top favorite planner supplies that I use every week when I sit down to plan.

My Planner

 My planner is from from Erin Condren. It is the horizontal life planner and I LOVE it!! If you are interested in getting one of your own, I highly suggest it. You can click HERE for more information and to receive $10 off your first order.

I think that a MUST HAVE product for anyone interested in decorating their planner is washi tape. Washi tape is so easy to use and it can add decorations to any page without adding too much bulk. It's also very functional. I use it a lot to separate sections in my planner to make them stand out. I get all of my washi tape from Michaels and use a 40% off coupon or wait for them to go on sale. It took me quite a while to accumulate this collection.

Another necessity for me is stickers. I love stickers!! My sticker obsession started when I was very young and stuck with me. I usually make my own stickers, but sometimes you need some fun stickers to add some personality to your layouts. I get these stickers from... you guessed it, Michaels. They are only $1 for a whole pack. That's the normal price, not sale price. :-) When I'm not adding decorative stickers, I am adding my custom decorative-functional stickers. If you are interested in checking out my stickers, you can visit my Etsy store HERE.

What's planning without some great pens. I love my flair pens, but I also love Staedtler pens. They come in a variety of colors and I love that it comes with a carrying case. I picked this set up from Target.

I love me some bright, colorful pens, but sometimes you just need a good ol' black ballpoint pen. That doesn't mean it has to be boring. I got these beauties from Pen Gems and I love that I can have gorgeous pens that are functional as well.

My last favorite is not necessarily a planner supply, but it's where I store all of my supplies. This is a Vera Bradley bag that is intended for cosmetics. It works perfectly for planner supplies as well. If you are interested in one of your own, you can purchase it HERE. If you want to see what's inside this bag, I made a video all about it HERE.

I hope you enjoyed taking a peak at all of my favorites. I have also created a video sharing these products too.

Magic Answer (Flip Chute)

Don't we all just love Pinterest? I know I do! I have been wanting to implement math centers into my routine this year and I slowly want to teach my students games that can one day be part of their math centers. I am currently working on a math fluency "program" (future post) and I knew that I wanted math facts to be a big part of my math centers. I saw this flip chute on pinterest and I thought it was perfect. I went ahead and made one of my own. It was actually pretty easy. There is a video on Classroom DIY, but I decided to do a more step-by-step video. You can see that video here. I also  made a template in word that you can go ahead and type your questions and answers into. Click the photo to visit my TPT where you can download the template for free.

3-2-1 Teacher Bio {Weekend Warriors}

I am linking up with Weekend Warriors to let you know a little bit about myself. I love getting to know other teachers and thought this would be a fun way to do it.   1. I love being a teacher and I have wanted to be one every since I was a little girl. I even turned my closet into a classroom and taught my sister and gave her homework to do. Even when she was done playing with me I would continue to play teacher by myself and my Barbies. If you peak into my classroom I am always with my students. I am either sitting on the floor with them reading a story, sitting at their tables during math time, and even dancing during Go Noodle with them. I love my job and being able to be a kid at heart 7 hours a day is pretty awesome!! 2.  I absolutely love center time. I love making and creating fun and engaging centers for my students and this year I am even going to add an additional math center time. This is a time where my students get to unwind a little, have some fun, ...

Show and Tell Wednesday

I'm excited to announce that I am starting a new link up. It is called Show and Tell Wednesday. Every Wednesday I will be hosting a linky party. This is a place where you can share anything you would like. All you have to do is write a blog post about something you would like to share and tell us about it. It can be something from your TPT store, an activity that you did in your class, or anything else school/teaching related. I always love learning new things from fellow teachers and I'm always searching for new ideas. Here are a few rules for the link up. Become a follower of my blog. This is not necessary, but occasionally I will be doing giveaways and in order to be considered for the giveaway, you must be a follower. Also, you don't want to miss anything in the future! :-) Add the Show and Tell button on your blog post that you link up. Visit the person before your link and leave them some thoughtful feedback. Have fun!!!!  Here is my show and tell for the week. School...
