Plan With Me Sunday Blog Hop

Welcome to Plan With Me Sundays Blog Hop! This is my first time participating and I am so excited! I have been a planner all of my life and I absolutely love writing things down and organizing my life. This week I wanted to link up with Keeping up with Mrs. Harris and Kreative in Kindergarten because I love looking at other people's planners.

Before I share with you my planner(s) I just want to let you know that I have THREE, yes three. One is my personal planner with my every day to do lists, chores, appointments, etc. My second is my business planner. I use this to organize things for work, my TpT store and blog, as well as my Etsy. The third planner is my Erin Condren teaching planner. I will not be sharing that planner this week, but you can learn all about it HERE.

I will be sharing two of my planners here with you today.

The first is my business planner. It is an Erin Condren planner in the vertical layout. I love this layout because it is broken down into three sections. I uncoiled my EC planner and put it into my Kikki-K binder. It is so easy to use it this way because I am able to insert extra pages that I need.

I create my own stickers so I can customize my headers to fit my needs.  My work section is to organize things for work (classroom to dos, things to copy, things to grade, reminders, etc). My TpT section is where I put all of my blog information, updates, and products that I need to work on. My Etsy section is all related to my Etsy store (things I need to do, orders I need to fill, etc.)
My planner this week is decorated and all ready to go for Vegas. Since I will be on vacation, I won't be working too much, but I still wanted a layout that matched my week.

The stickers are ones that I created for myself. I have a section for work, TpT, and Etsy. I also created Instagram stickers to track and remind myself to post on my personal Instagram as well as my teaching Instagram. The hearts, diamonds, clubs, and spades were also created by me.

The rest of the stickers are from an Elvis sheet that I got from Hobby Lobby. I also embellished with washi tape because who doesn't love washi?

If you want to see in detail how I planned this week, I made a plan with me video that you can watch. :-)

In addition to my business planner, I also have my personal planner. It is also from Erin Condren. I keep this one coiled and it is the horizontal layout. I have so much more room to write in this layout, which I love.

Again, I am using stickers that I designed myself. It was my first week in my horizontal Erin Condren so I am still figuring things out. I do like writing and illustrating something that stood out from the day. It's kind of like a mini scrapbook. I probably won't always do that, but it's a nice way to use that space for now.

    1. Uncoiling was scary at first, but it was the best decision I've ever made. My Etsy store is JenuineCraftsCo. https://www.etsy.com/shop/jenuinecraftsco It's currently on "vacation" since I'm going to be leaving for Vegas. It will be back in a couple weeks and when it is there will be a whole lot of stickers listed. :-)

    1. I used to keep it all in one planner (business and personal) but it became overwhelming and I ran out of space. Having the horizontal planner for my personal things gave me so much more room.

    1. I love YouTube. I watch it more than TV, true story. :-) I love my Kikki-K. I recently got my new Erin Condren and I am loving the coil again, so I may stay coiled for a few months.

    1. You can go decoration heavy or light. I enjoy functional stickers with light decoration. It doesn't take too long, especially if you are enjoying TV as you plan.

  8. I've always wondered how folks put those EC pages in a Kikki-K or Filofaxes...another mystery of the universe solved :) You'll have to let us know how you like the horizontal layout over time. I haven't made the plunge yet, but it's really been tempting me! Enjoyed your post :)

    1. I have been using the horizontal layout for 2 weeks now and I am really loving it. I don't think I will be uncoiling my EC this year because I am loving the spiral too much.

  9. Jennifer,

I picked up your card from the table today at #tptvegas15 and I would love to do some collaboration through our blogs. Even though we teach different grades, I host two link ups that are open to all grades/subjects. "On My Bookshelf" is a monthly book link up for anything you've read for you, for PD, or for your classroom. My other link up is called "Page Turners" and will resume around back to school time. Each week I feature great blog posts around a certain theme.

Magic Answer (Flip Chute)

Don't we all just love Pinterest? I know I do! I have been wanting to implement math centers into my routine this year and I slowly want to teach my students games that can one day be part of their math centers. I am currently working on a math fluency "program" (future post) and I knew that I wanted math facts to be a big part of my math centers. I saw this flip chute on pinterest and I thought it was perfect. I went ahead and made one of my own. It was actually pretty easy. There is a video on Classroom DIY, but I decided to do a more step-by-step video. You can see that video here. I also  made a template in word that you can go ahead and type your questions and answers into. Click the photo to visit my TPT where you can download the template for free.

3-2-1 Teacher Bio {Weekend Warriors}

I am linking up with Weekend Warriors to let you know a little bit about myself. I love getting to know other teachers and thought this would be a fun way to do it.   1. I love being a teacher and I have wanted to be one every since I was a little girl. I even turned my closet into a classroom and taught my sister and gave her homework to do. Even when she was done playing with me I would continue to play teacher by myself and my Barbies. If you peak into my classroom I am always with my students. I am either sitting on the floor with them reading a story, sitting at their tables during math time, and even dancing during Go Noodle with them. I love my job and being able to be a kid at heart 7 hours a day is pretty awesome!! 2.  I absolutely love center time. I love making and creating fun and engaging centers for my students and this year I am even going to add an additional math center time. This is a time where my students get to unwind a little, have some fun, ...

Show and Tell Wednesday

I'm excited to announce that I am starting a new link up. It is called Show and Tell Wednesday. Every Wednesday I will be hosting a linky party. This is a place where you can share anything you would like. All you have to do is write a blog post about something you would like to share and tell us about it. It can be something from your TPT store, an activity that you did in your class, or anything else school/teaching related. I always love learning new things from fellow teachers and I'm always searching for new ideas. Here are a few rules for the link up. Become a follower of my blog. This is not necessary, but occasionally I will be doing giveaways and in order to be considered for the giveaway, you must be a follower. Also, you don't want to miss anything in the future! :-) Add the Show and Tell button on your blog post that you link up. Visit the person before your link and leave them some thoughtful feedback. Have fun!!!!  Here is my show and tell for the week. School...
